I have been working on this project for a couple of months now. I have been shocked by the amount of people who have never heard of Bhopal let alone the agony and injustice the people have faced over the last 2 decades. I know that people don't pay attention to things that are not revelant to them, but I think people suffering is relevant to everyone. People suffering in Darfur isn't relevant to us, yet we know and try to help those in need. It makes me wonder why this particular event has not been brought to light. Is is because it was an American company involved? Is it because both the Indian and American governments have not done their part in bringing justice? I feel that it would be irresponsible of me to not try to spread the word about the Bhopal Gas Disaster. Please tell someone about this. Hopefully, enough people will be educated on the topic and the victims will get the help they deserve.
